The Job: Turning Phosphorus Sludge into Fertilizer Feed
Our customer generates phosphorus-rich sludge from wastewater treatment. Landfilling was expensive. Simple incineration wasted the phosphorus. They wanted to recover the phosphorus for fertilizer production—and destroy the organic contaminants at the same time.
They wanted a brand-new, purpose-built kiln designed specifically for this material. No used equipment. No repurposed cement kilns.

Why Phosphorus Sludge Needs a Special Kiln
